Original painting coming from my color composition assignment in my PA 262 painting course. This work was for our white composition piece and figuring out how to frame a “white” subject with desaturated colors.

For all three of my color compositions, white/black/chromatic grey, I painted portraits of Black women with landscape backgrounds, finding a way to push different ways of going about the works in regard to the color composition challenge.
